LYNX LS-ADAT
The LS-ADAT is a full-function ADAT interface that provides two ADAT lightpipe inputs and outputs and an ADAT Sync In Port for the LynxTWO/L22/AES16 professional PCI cards.  Operating at a sample rate of 48 kHz, the LS-ADAT I/O channel capacity is 16. The LS-AES is an 8-channel AES/EBU or S/PDIF LStream interface module that is designed for use with the LynxTWO and Lynx L22 professional audio interfaces. The LS-AES provides four inputs and outputs that support professional AES/EBU and consumer S/PDIF digital I/O formats. Connections are transformer coupled with pro-quality sample rate conversion (SRC) available on all inputs. The LS-AES is also compatible with Dolby Digital and DTS encoded formats.

LT-FW is a FireWire 400 interface that allows up to 32 channels of analog and digital input and output at sample rates up to 96 kHz. At 192 kHz the user can access 16 channels of analog and digital I/O.

MADI (Multi-channel Audio Digital Interface) is an established standardised audio format that can carry up to 64 channels of audio in a single cable connection. MADI is available in two different cable/connection formats; MADI Optical (Optical Fibre cable with SC type connectors) or MADI Coaxial (Coax’ cable with BNC connectors).

The SSL ‘MADI Opti-Coax’ is a handy format converter box designed to convert up to 64 audio channels bi-directionally (64 IN & 64 OUT) between the MADI Optical and MADI Coaxial formats. Its front panel is equipped with one set of MADI SC type optical input & output connectors and one set of MADI BNC coaxial input & output connectors.

Conversion takes place in real time with no latency and no audio degradation. In addition to simple format conversion MADI Opti Coax can be used to extend cable distance coverage from 50m for the MADI Coax format to 2km for the MADI Optical format. MADI Opti-Coax is housed within a rugged all metal case and is extremely simple to use.
