Eclipse 384 is an
advanced 384 kHz A/D & D/A converter clocked by Antelope's
renowned 64-bit technology and a flexible monitoring system that
creates a technological synergy by combining the most prominent
Antelope's innovations. It provides mastering and mixing
engineers an unprecedented level of productivity, sound quality
and ease of use.
The Eclipse
comprises 384 kHz A/D & D/A converters clocked by two
independent 64-bit DSP Trinity-level clocks. The fully
integrated monitor controller employs 0.05 dB accurate
gold-plated relay attenuators and provides speaker switching,
bass management and cue mix functions with integrated talkback.
The Eclipse also includes two dedicated headphone amplifiers and
a custom USB interface, as well as two large peak meters on the
front panel. The advanced software control panel compatible with
both Mac & PC, allows five nameable presets for easy recall of

BRICASTI DESIGN
M1 |
-

The intention of
the M1 is to provide a state of the art, Digital to Analog
converter, utilizing the best designs and materials that can be
found today. The D/A converter is a very critical part of the
digital audio chain, after all you have to convert it to analog
to hear it, and we feel this should be a true as possible in its
reconstruction of the original signal. The sound of the M1 is
intended to be transparent and revealing, and fully dynamic.
This in part is made possible by the lowering the jitter to
extremely low levels, providing a pure digital signal chain with
no SRCs ( sample rate converters) or digital volume controllers,
superior digital filter design, coupled to a fast transparent
analog signal path with a discreet analog output section and
plenty of good clean linear power for optimum analog
performance.
The M1 is a
dual mono design. This means that there are 2 completely
isolated channels, a left and right, each with its own dedicated
linear power supply, D/A converter, clocking, and analog
circuitry. This design insures that analog cross talk is
virtually non existent, and that the necessary power
requirements for each channel are well met and isolated from
each other and the digital processing which has its own power
supply. With our twin DAC design, the dynamic range for each
channel is optimized by using a the stereo ADI 1955 D/A
converter in a mono configuration, plus clocking is for each
channel done directly at the DAC with a technique called DDS
(direct digital synthesis) which takes clock induced jitter to
immeasurable levels.

LavryBlack AD11 |
-

-
The AD11 stereo A
to D converter offers USB connectivity, ideal for portable
recording systems. Other features include built-in microphone
preamplifiers with phantom power, large wide-range LED meters,
and Lavry’s exclusive Digital Tape Saturation Emulation (“Soft
Saturation”). All settings are controllable from the AD11’s
front panel using a system similar to that of the companion D to
A converter- the DA11.
Building on Lavry’s long established reputation of making the
most accurate AD converters available, the AD11’s no-compromise
design offers substantial value at an affordable price. With
converter and microphone preamplifier performance that exceeds
other manufacturer’s stand-alone units, the AD11 combines
musicality with functionality. The USB output is available in
parallel with both XLR and RCA AES/SPDIF digital audio outputs,
so more than one recording or monitoring device can be fed
directly from the AD converter. The MicPre function and phantom
power are selectable on each channel, as well as the Soft
Saturation and +4/-10 level functions.

Features
like a USB input, programmable settings, infrared remote
capability, and the proprietary
>PiC< Playback Image Control™
make the DA11 more than just a great sounding
DA converter.
In keeping with the Lavry
Engineering tradition of innovation in the pursuit of
excellence, Dan Lavry has combined customer requested
features with a flexible approach to controlling the stereo
image. The patent pending
>PiC< Playback Image Control™
allows the listener
to adjust their position within the stereo sound field in a
way that is unique to the DA11. Applications include
adjusting the stereo width to create a headphone listening
experience more like listening in a room with speakers, or
moving the “sweet spot” with asymmetrical speaker placement.
A full
compliment of USB, XLR, RCA, and optical digital audio
inputs offer flexibility in using computer, network music,
or stand alone CD player sources, as well as studio
equipment. Balanced and unbalanced output options are
provided for ease in connection to a wide range of HiFi as
well as professional audio gear.
With the
addition of infrared remote capability, the DA11 puts the
listener in the driver’s seat with the added benefit of
working with a universal remote that the customer may
already own! The remote Mute function controls both
headphone and main outputs, while a separate main output
On/Off setting adds flexibility for private headphone
listening.
Like the highly
acclaimed LavryBlack DA10, the DA11 offers extreme
transparency and musicality in DA conversion with the
ability to control speaker volume using digitally controlled
ANALOG volume circuitry. With unparalleled precision in
channel matching throughout the volume range, this feature
allows the listener to easily reset the volume to a known
level for consistent enjoyment with minimal signal
degradation. Like all other programmable settings, the
Volume setting is retained in memory when the power is
turned “off.”
